"Eternal Commotion" (original german title “Die ewige Unruhe”) is a turn-based 3D strategy game as a commentary on the 101-year history of design training at Paulusplatz in Trier, Germany.
The game focuses on the social networks that have shaped this historic location. The player's task is to build and maintain these networks and in the process become familiar with some of the lines of conflict and cooperative constellations that characterize Paulusplatz as a place of “eternal unrest” right up to the present day.
The game comprises 11 levels with a playing time of 40-60 minutes. It is available free of charge for desktop computers (Windows, Mac) as well as smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android). It was developed at the Intermedia Design department of Trier University of Applied Sciences.
