In this empathy game, you slip into the roles of:

• Elisabeth, a shopkeeper's wife during the plague in Trier, 1349
• Jacob, a farmer during the time of the peasant uprisings in Bieberach, 1525
• Father Sebastian, Jesuit during the time of the witch hunts in Mainz
• Friedrich, a shoemaker in Pirmasens, 1872
• Miss Landauer, a doctor in a military hospital in Freiburg during World War I, 1916
• Meryem, a child of turkish guest workers in Stuttgart, 1970

The game was developed in collaboration with german public broadcasting corporation SWR.
